Call for Papers
Since 2018, the international congress “BIOPOLYMER - Processing & Molding” has been bringing together experts on the topic of bio-based and biodegradable plastics - and engaging in discussions with users and processors from all over the world. Participants from more than 40 countries (online and on-site) have made the event one of the most important of its kind in the world over the past two years. The event, which is organized annually by the POLYKUM e.V. association, is particularly appreciated for its practical, user-oriented presentations. Become a central part of this event and the BIOPOLYMER community:

What types of content can be submitted?
Innovations in the field of bio-based and biodegradable plastics, in particular:
- New or significantly improved materials, products, machines or components
- Innovative technologies for the production, investigation or processing of biopolymers
- New inventions/research and development results from the last 2 to 3 years (in exceptional cases up to 5 years if the content is relevant for today's applications)
- Practical experience and real measurements - not very first ideas
- Important new developments in the area of legal or political framework conditions or important markets affecting the biopolymer industry
- High relevance for processors, users and product developers

The Association for the Promotion of Polymer Development and Plastics Technology in Central Germany - POLYKUM e. V. sees its most important task in promoting the transfer of knowledge, innovation and technology and the cooperation of small and medium-sized companies in particular with each other and with science along the value chain. The diverse activities and measures for this include maintaining regular contact with members, organizing workshops and scientific events on industry-specific topics, and organizing joint stands at regional and international trade fairs.
